REK’s first full cycle investment involved a multifamily property in Columbus, Ohio that generated 17% annualized returns over the first two year period.  REK obtained a vacant, unproductive liability and  successfully delivered fully renovated and affordable workforce housing to a community in need.  The property was sold at a significant gain to value resulting in profits for our investors, a new tax base for local agencies and a place to call home for the local residents.

 

REK purchased a large multifamily asset in Dayton, Ohio that was fully vacant at the time of acquisition.  REK strategically implemented capital improvements, addressed deferred maintenance issues and made aggressive management changes to improve the asset's Net Operating Income.  This asset now delivers an annual cash-on-cash return of 20-25% annually.  The After Repair Value was assessed at 157% of investment cost.
